What makes Momentum Design Lab unique?
We are a user experience focused software design and development agency. Most design agencies do not have a long history with complex software products, we do. Most development agencies do not have a long history with UX-led process, we do. We love to get our hands dirty with products other agencies are afraid of. We love designing the systems behind the systems.
What are some common misconceptions about UX design?
The most common misconceptions about UX design is that it’s to make things “pretty,” or that it’s synonymous with UI design. UX design’s most core purpose is to make things functional, efficient and pleasant to us. Good and bad (user) experiences are everywhere, from Starbucks to airplanes, with the User Interface (UI) playing a small part.
If Momentum Design Lab invented a new Olympic sport, what would it be and why?
Why invent a new Olympic sport when there are so many great sports that already exist that, unfortunately, are not in the Olympics. We love Bowling and think it would make an excellent addition to the Summer Olympics.
