3 Questions

What makes Améredia unique?

Diversity and Multiculturalism. We represent various ethnic demographics and enable brands and non-brands to connect and grow uniquely within these, nationally and globally. In English and in-language, through complementary mainstream and ethnic tradigital channels working wonderfully together. It’s the new reality, and its changing our perception of the world.

What do brands often overlook when marketing to cultures outside their own?

Cultural sensitivity. Each culture carries its own nuances. A Chinese is first a Chinese and then an Asian. Even the sub-cultures are distinct within the same culture. It’s a catch 22 for brands and agencies – who and what to go for. Just commit your brand growth towards few of your focus cultures and build loyalty over time. Start somewhere…and do it right.

If a TV show were to be based on Améredia, what would it be called?

“TALK TO ME!” Brands and non-brands realize the need to connect with multicultural consumers, but it’s challenging. “Talk To Me” will showcase the efforts of these companies to connect with ethnic consumers through different communication platforms. We’ll take you inside the agency to connect with our brains behind the ideas and into the markets where you’ll really talk to the consumers and understand them first-hand.

1 Milestone

Marketing the highest grossing Russian theatrical movie ever (Stalingrad) in America recently. Also the first major foreign production produced  entirely and exclusively in IMAX 3D. The movie’s opening week performance was better than some mainstream big budget productions released nationally.
