THREAD, an independent creative agency located in Orange County, started out as a mostly digital media agency back in 2005. Realizing that their passion was healthcare, the Agency switched their focus in 2009 to become the award-winning healthcare agency we know today. THREAD has gone on to establish itself as a staple in the healthcare marketing space, working with great brands such as ALPHAEON and National Stroke Association.

It’s a craftsman-style building that used to be a museum. We love it, clients love it. You do not feel like you’re going to an office. You feel like you’re going to your hippie Aunt’s house to listen to Joni Mitchell records. And who doesn’t want to do that?

Film presents a huge opportunity for healthcare brands today, so we value our proximity to Hollywood to bring the best and brightest directors, cast, and crew to our clients.

How do you view the creative landscape in LA? How is it different from other major cities?

There’s something to be said for the fact that only in LA can you hang outside virtually every day of the year. Our creative vibe isn’t tucked away to keep warm; it’s out for the world to see. We wear our culture on our bodies, our cars, and our front lawns. Surf culture, food trucks, insane farmer’s markets, vintage car shows—they all thrive here and inspire us.
