Does your agency have a cool origin story?

Archer Malmo Austin started as Tocquigny, founded by Yvonne Tocquigny as a design firm in 1980. Back then, many of the agency’s now high-profile clients were startups. Yvonne shared their dreams, saw the opportunities and soon recruited cutting-edge talent who helped the company earn national acclaim for its creativity and its measurement chops. One of the agency’s most notable partnerships is that with Dell: at over 20 years the tech giant’s longest ever agency relationship, which kicked off when Tocquigny was the only agency in town that would commit to turn around a Christmas retail packaging project within a week. That can-do attitude never left the agency, and became even more pronounced when Tocquigny was acquired by Archer Malmo – a leading independent brand communications agency based in Memphis – in 2015.
