8 Mobile Marketing Award Winners from the Smarties


There were a number of mobile marketing award winners at the Global MMA 2016 Smarties event, and we are highlighting 8 of the standout mobile agencies from the event. In every category, there were impressive and sleek campaigns and designs — like the Miami HEAT mobile app in the United States, or Dunkin’ Donuts and DigitasLBi’s #WTFast ad launch in the United States, too.

The Smarties is another incredible opportunity for companies and agencies to get recognized for a job well done. Mobile marketing award winners for the event were announced on September 26, 2016. Facebook Creative Shop – Brand Awareness (Silver)

Nice ‘N Easy and Facebook Creative Shop won the silver in the “Brand Awareness” category for their television ad released earlier this year called “The Greys Are Here”.



 

R/GA – Mobile Website (Silver)

Samsung and R/GA took home the silver in the “Mobile Website” category. R/GA helped Samsung launch the Galaxy S6 Edge in a very unique mobile experience for the user.
 

Mobiento & Deloitte Digital – Lead Generation (Bronze)

Mobiento/Deloitte Digital took home the bronze in this category for a project out Sweeden. Mobiento/Deloitte Digital worked with AMF Fastigheter to complete their mission of completing largest urban development project in central Stockholm in over thirty years.
 

DigitasLBi – Product Services Launch (Gold)

DigitasLBI and Dunkin’ Donuts took home the gold in this category for their mobile marketing campaign called “#WTFast”. DigitasLBI created a 30-second TV spot to showcase Dunkin’ Donuts new online ordering app.

Not only did this campaign land the brand and agency gold in this category, but this campaign was also awarded “Best in Show” for the evening.


 

Razorfish New York – Mobile Social (Silver)

Razorfish and Spotify took home the silver in this category for their mobile campaign “Spotify Singles”. In a short clip, Razorfish created a flashy advertisement for Spotify’s new campaign.


 

Mindshare – Mobile App (Silver)

Unilever/ Dove Hair and Mindshare took home the silver for the mobile app category. Building off their “Love Your Curls” campaign from earlier in 2015, Mindshare helped Dove Hair launch curly-haired emojis into users’ mobile keyboards.

Razorfish New York – Relationship Building (Silver)

Spotify and Razorfish not only took home the silver in the “Mobile Social” category, but they also took home another silver in the “Relationship Building” mobile marketing category. The “Spotify Singles” campaign drove a lot of PR and Social Media Engagement, so it comes as no surprise it took home multiple awards at the event.

Ignition – Innovation (Silver)

Acura and Ignition took home the silver in the mobile innovation category. The campaign utilized the hashtag “#RaceYourHeartOut” to help Acura with their Winter Sales Event along with creating a 1 minute and thirty second TV-spot highlighting the campaign.
